Hi there, I’m Chad. I’m a native English speaker from the U.S., but I’ve actually been living here in Asia for the last 18 years. I’ve spent the better part of a decade as a language coach on italki, and in that time, I’ve taught almost 5,000 lessons.
Living abroad has given me a lot of perspective on how difficult it can be to move from "knowing" a language to actually feeling comfortable speaking it. Whether you are an intermediate student trying to reach that next level of fluency or a professional trying to navigate the nuances of Western culture, I’m here to help you get there in a way that feels natural and stress-free.我的教學經歷
I believe the best learning happens when you actually enjoy the conversation. My style is relaxed and supportive. I’m the person you can make mistakes around without feeling judged.
Because I’ve lived abroad for nearly two decades, I understand the "bridge" between cultures. I know how to help you move from textbook English to the "real" English used in American homes and offices.
