Hi there! My name is Simon, I'm 24 years old and I'm a CELTA-certified teacher from Toronto, Canada. I'm passionate about teaching, languages, history, cultures, religions and spirituality, and hold a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and History with a minor in English from the University of Toronto. One of my favourite pastimes is learning languages, and as of right now I've achieved an advanced level in Spanish and Portuguese, and I'm working to improve my level in Hindi-Urdu, Arabic and Persian. I also love travelling and meeting new people, spending time with my family and friends, playing board games, going for long walks, listening to music, and singing at karaoke.我的教學經歷
As an CELTA-certified teacher with over 4 years of experience, I've helped countless students around the world reach their learning goals and improve their confidence in using English. As an avid language learner myself, I know perfectly well how scary and difficult learning a new language can seem, so my goal is that you feel as comfortable as possible when using English. Whether you're looking for a more structured lesson, or are just looking to have a chat, our classes will always be very relaxed, so that you can learn and practice without pressure. I offer two types of classes: English Grammar and Vocabulary, and Conversational English. If you're looking for a more structured class with real tested classroom materials, clear study aims and regular homework, English Grammar and Vocab is right for you! If you're looking to improve your English speaking skills and confidence, or just to have a friendly chit-chat in English, Conversational English is for you! If you don't know how to say something, don't worry! I always write in the chat every word, phrase and grammar point that you don't know or have trouble with during the lesson so that you can review them later.我的教材

Simon has one of the most important components needed to teach a new language: he knows how to listen to you and turn a simple conversation into something useful and entertaining to improve your speaking. He's young but seems like he has a lot of experience.
