Pablo has worked with me for four lessons. He is nonjudgmental and always encouraging. I’ve self studied for that last year, and only dabbled before that. At this point, my sentences are very fragmented and he has to work hard to understand what I’m saying. But, he encourages me and helps me with pronunciation and new words. He always speaks to me in Spanish, which I appreciate, but at a level I can understand. I have areas of knowledge that are more advanced, and at the same time have overlooked very simple, basic concepts in my studies as well. He doesn’t judge me when I ask a very elementary question. I look forward to booking many new lessons with him.

I have learned a lot from different Italki teachers and love the platform. What I like most about Pedro in particular is that he is a good conversationalist and pulls me into talking so that he can see what words and grammar I use to be able to help me. He makes me feel comfortable and very interested in random topics so I feel free to just keep trying to express myself. He does a good job with screen sharing sites or pictures on the internet to move the conversation forward too. If he does break down a point of grammar with me, he usually has good chart or exercises to work on it.

I always look forward to lessons with Pedro. He is such a natural teacher, and he does a great job keeping the class fun and engaging. I enjoy how our conversations can vary between history, everyday life, or grammar, depending on what I am in the mood for that day. Pedro is also excellent at providing immediate feedback via chat, and also using online resources to enhance the lessons.
