Hello, my name is Brooke, an Australian living in Brisbane.
I spent the last 3.5 years living in London and Spain, tutoring English and working with children.
My experience in teaching English includes earning my TESOL certificate, working in London schools, tutoring English in Spain, and working on iTalki for over two years.
My education background is Marketing, Events, and Creative and Professional Writing. I am currently studying a MASTERS in TEACHING.
With this experience, I can assist you with a diverse range of aspects of English - including business, slang, day-to-day English, writing and speaking.我的教學經歷
As a teacher, I would like to converse with you on a variety of topics. I am prepared with resources, that I send ahead of time and direct the lesson to meet your personal goals.
I pay attention to how you use English grammar and notice areas that you need to improve. Using this information to tailor your next classes and lead conversations to areas where these are used, without distracting you from speech.
For example, if I notice you need assistance with past tense, I will ask questions about the past whether it be about your life, world history, or social issues whilst correcting you.

Firstly, I will start with warm up conversation. This is to help you boost your confidence for the lesson and have you using English straight away.
Afterwards, we will go over the homework task. Depending on your lesson, there will be an article to read or activities you needed to complete. We will go through, discuss and edit together.
Next, we practice a new rule or improve on one that requires extra attention. In conversation classes, I will direct the topic to these areas. This usually takes up most of the lesson.
To finish, I will tell you about your homework for next lesson.
My lesson are adaptable to what best suits you - however, this is the basic structure of my lessons.我的教材

She is so kind and makes me feel relaxed! We talked about an article and she asked me a lot of questions. So I have many chances to speak English and she corrected my words and reorganized my wrong sentences. It was really helpful and it was so much fun! I will book her another class !
