My name is Jodie, born and raised in Liverpool. I'm currently learning multiple languages which means that I understand the struggles of learning a new language, and I have been able to experiment with different methods in order to learn. I also understand how rewarding it is to notice each improvement along the way!
I love to read, cook and eat, travel and hike, watch films and series, and I love to learn. 📝

I believe that people truly learn whilst having fun, so I like to make our lessons casual and enjoyable! 😊
I have an accredited TEFL certificate, so I am qualified to teach English as a foreign language. This means that we can also focus on aspects of grammar that you find difficult, and we'll approach it in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.📄
I am patient and flexible, and will always ask which methods you prefer to use in our lessons, but if I notice consistent errors or mistakes, I will address them with you to make sure you understand what we need to focus on. In my conversation lessons we will talk, talk, talk! I will start off by asking you questions to get the conversation flowing. I can choose the topics we will discuss, or you can come to me if you have a plan in mind. I'm very flexible and happy to talk about anything! 😊
I will correct pronunciation and help you to expand your vocabulary. We will learn idioms and phrasal verbs, as well as common British slang. You'll sound like a Brit in no time. 😉我的教材

Jodie is a very good teacher. I was a little shy in the first class, but she kept guiding me to speak English. She is very patient and a very open-minded teacher. Although it was only 45 minutes, we discussed a lot of topics, she will patiently listen to you and give guidance, and I will choose her course again.

Jodie is absolutely amazing and professional. She is able to adapt to your english level so communication with her is always flowed. She is also extremely human and friendly. So if you feel that you have a huge barrier in communication, problem with vocabulary or you are just looking for someone for very pleasant conversation in english... so Jodie is the right one.
