My name is Julie and I am 35 years old living in the United States of America.
I enjoy travel, video games and cooking. I lived in Japan for 5 years, and during that time I traveled to Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and China. I also travelled all over Japan to places such as Okinawa, Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka, Nagoya, Takayama, Shirakawago and many many more.
I love learning how to cook dishes from all over the world and I sometimes took cooking classes at the places I visited. I cook almost every day!我的教學經歷
I spent 5 years teaching English in public middle schools within Japan. After my day job, I would tutor Japanese adults in TOEFL prep, "eikaiwa" (English conversation) or business English. I also have experience tutoring children ages 7 to 12. We often played games in English. In 2020 I received my TEFL certificate after taking an online course. I wanted to have a certificate to go with my experience!
I believe that patience is very important when it comes to learning a language. I am patient with students, and can adapt the lesson around their needs.我的課程內容與教學風格
I believe having fun and having lots of practice is the best way to learn a language! I like to focus on why the student wants to learn English, and will build my lessons around that reason! I like to make my own worksheets or find ones online that focus on grammar, spelling or sentence making.

나름 편안한 분위기에서 대화 할 수 있었습니다. 다만 제 실력이나 앞으로의 공부 방향 등 피드백을 못 받아서 아쉬웠어요.
We talked about many opinions during the relaxing lesson atmosphere. But I didn't hear about my English level and suggestions, that was a bit bummed.
