Hi! I am Irina. Thank you for researching my page. Russian is my native language, all the members of my family always were speaking Russian despite the fact I was born in Lithuania (unfortunately, Lithuanian is a foreign language for me). I live and work in Russia more that 30 years, mostly in Saint-Petersburg but also I used to live in Siberia. I am certain we will find the topics for some conversational practice easily because I have a wide range of interests and I’m a good listener and have lots of questions which help you to speak Russian more confident.

Выучить язык хорошо помогает всесторонний подход, поэтому я предлагаю совершенствовать грамматику, тренировать фонетику и произношение, читать и переводить, а главное разговаривать обо всем, что вас интересует и окружает. Мы можем использовать учебные пособия, художественную литературу, статьи из прессы, чтобы прорабатывать лексику и вводить ее в повседневную речь.

Really enjoyed talking with Irina. She was very easy to talk to and patient with my broken Russian. She not only typed some key words, but also added some phrases to a file after the lesson. I found this particularly helpful. Looking forward to our next chat!
