Hello, I'm Vivian, a professional Chinese language instructor based in Shanghai, China. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English from Hangzhou Dianzi University, which has provided me with a strong foundation in language education. As a native Mandarin speaker with fluency in Shanghainese dialect, I offer authentic language instruction coupled with local cultural insights. My teaching methodology emphasizes student engagement through interactive speaking practice, ensuring effective learning outcomes for both children and adult learners. With over four years of experience in online Chinese instruction, I've successfully guided students from diverse backgrounds including the U.S. ,Canada, etc.
I majored in English for four years in the university. I have been to be a trainee teacher in a junior middle school in the last year of my university life. I have 7 years of working experience，and more than 2 years of online teaching experience.

I’ve been having Mandarin conversational classes with Teacher Vivian for over a year now, and I feel that I have learned so much with her patient help & excellent teaching style. The lessons are always fun and interesting, where we can speak about anything from normal daily life to culture and current news. I’d really recommend you try a lesson with her if you’re looking to improve your Mandarin, and learn more about China along the way.
