I'm a Colombian guy who enjoys sharing knowledge with other people. My true passion is teaching, but I haven't done this all my life. I used to be a journalist, and I worked in media, but now I prefer to create content to help people around the world communicate. Spanish is my mother tongue. Also, I speak English (C2), some Japanese (N4), and some French (A2).
Things I love: Video games (RTS specially), history, geopolitics, learning about different cultures, etc.
I'm 28 years old, and I live with my wife and my cat. I hope you enjoy the lessons as much as I do!我的教學經歷
I love being helpful. If a topic is not clear, I will explain as many times as my students need because the students are the most important element of a language learning class. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask.
I always try to promote self-confidence in students. Any person can learn foreign languages, but sometimes people don't believe in their own communication skills and become shy to talk to a native speaker. Breaking that wall is the only way to successfully learn languages, so my lessons are always a space where students can improve their language-related self-confidence.我的課程內容與教學風格
I like to go beyond grammar and help students to become skillful Spanish speakers in real situations.
I try to teach vocabulary as much as I can, and I try to get them used to some idioms and slang because that's how native speakers talk. I always explain why we prefer some expressions over others, and I try to answer any questions students have. My master's degree thesis focuses on non-verbal communication, so I usually approach gestures as well.
I like to have conversations with my students about any topic they feel comfortable with, and I use Audio files with conversations between native Spanish speakers.我的教材
