Hello lovely human,
Thanks for clicking on my profile. :) I'm Veronika, born and bred in Thuringia, the so called "Green Heart of Germany". I love my country, its rich culture, old history (even though there are definitely some dark sides about it) and its beautiful nature. However I'm also curious about other amazing parts of our world so I recently lived in New Zealand for 2 and a half years, and later in Scotland, which were the biggest adventures of my life so far. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories and knowledge about our different cultures and lives. At the moment I live and study in the beautiful city of Heidelberg.我的教學經歷
I believe learning a new language opens doors to many new opportunities for us! Being passionate about German and English I finished my high school with excellent grades in both languages. While travelling through New Zealand I realised how important and reassuring it is to have someone supporting you on your language journey, motivating you and guiding you throughout the process. So my goal is to raise your confidence in all aspects: listening, speaking, reading and writing - and have fun together doing so! Therefore I will teach you in a personalised way that suits your learning style best. Being friendly, patient and understanding while teaching with excitement is my standard.我的課程內容與教學風格
Depending on your current level and goals I offer 2 language courses: a Beginners course for A1-A2 students and a conversational course for A2 - C2 students.
I like structuring the Beginners Course into a grammar and an exercise + conversation part. That way you always gain important new knowledge while also practically using what you just learned.
In the conversational course we talk about exciting topics to expand your vocabulary and raise your confidence in speaking, grammar use and sentence structure.
I am providing materials according your needs for you, for example in form of PDF‘s, texts and exercises. We use a Google document to write down new vocabulary and grammar insights.我的教材

After learning with Veronika for a little over two months now, I have improved greatly on my confidence, pronunciation, and listening. She has awesome lesson plans, and plenty to review to make sure you grasp each lesson. Lots of scenario acting as well, which is very helpful. Highly recommend if you want to step up your German.

Diese Lehrerin ist eine sehr geduldige Lehrerin, die dem Schüler viel Vertrauen vermittelt und alles mit einem großen Lächeln erklärt. Sie bereitet nicht nur zusätzliches Material für den Unterricht vor und passt sich perfekt an das vorzubereitende Niveau an, sondern sie arbeitet auch hart im Unterricht, um die Zweifel oder Schwächen der Schüler zu verstärken. Ganz zu schweigen davon, dass sie eine sehr tolerante Lehrerin mit einem großen kulturellen Hintergrund ist. Im Unterricht motiviert sie einen, hart zu arbeiten und ist zuverlässig. Ich kann ihren Unterricht nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Veronika is extremely encouraging and motivating.
The atmosphere in our lessons is friendly and relaxed.
The tasks we do during lessons are interesting and useful in daily life. Veronika also gives homework after each lesson, so it helps to memorise the topics even better.
