¡Hola! Soy José, and I am from Venezuela, a beautiful country in the Caribbean. I am passionate about languages, and my approach is guided by neuroscience tips. I like to study how the human brain learns and retains information long-term. I enjoy culture exchange, travel, food, traditions and music. My teaching journey began in 2019 when I taught English at a local high school. In 2020, when everything went online, I got the opportunity to tutor Spanish. It was then that I found my passion for teaching my native language to people abroad. I realized it was more than just words; it was about conveying culture, traditions, food, music, and a lifestyle.
In 2023, I decided to formally study Spanish language and literature to ensure my teaching was based on proper pedagogy and professionalism and not just on my personal experience. I have experience teaching from scratch to those who have used language apps but need real-world conversation. 我的課程內容與教學風格
My lessons are tailored to each student's needs. When it comes to improving fluency, we focus on pronunciation exercises, using comprehensible input to acquire new vocabulary, and providing grammar tips for a better understanding of Spanish.
I believe in using effective study techniques that are supported by neuroscience. It's common to hear that we learn by adapting to our learning styles, such as visual or auditory, but these are often not the most efficient methods. Therefore, we use proven techniques like content production and recall ensuring what you learn sticks in your long-term memory.
In our sessions, we practice these four skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.我的教材
