Teacher Katerina

I have had classes with Katerina for over a half a year now and my Greek improved insanely during that time. Katerina made me very comfortable speaking the language by making sure that except for grammar exercises/listening/reading there is always time for an actual convestation. She does a great job as a teacher and also asks for my feedback - if I want to change or do something else during our classes. Before, I had some bad experiences on Italki with teachers calling off a class without a word but as Katerina's profile encouraged me- communication is very important for her and indeed Katerina is very respectful and always informs about any changes in her schedule. But most important to me is how much fun I have during the learning process and believe me I always finish a class with a smile on my face and lots of good energy. Ευχαριστώ πάρα πολύ Κατερίνα!

And studying with you, I learned a lot more Greek than I even imagined at the beginning! My listening, speaking, vocabulary is all much improved from when I started. Thank you so very much!!

Γεια σε όλους, Το μάθημα με την Κατερίνα είναι πολύ ενδιαφέρον γιατί διδάσκει πράγματα που χρησιμοποιούμε καθημερινά, έμαθα πολλά πράγματα μαζί της ευχαριστώ πολύ.

This is my 4th or 5th lesson with Katerina! Last year, I studied on my own using Language Transfer, and this year, I wanted to practice listening and speaking and learn more vocabulary/grammar specifically for my upcoming trip to Greece. Katerina's lessons are exactly what I was looking for, actually way above and beyond my expectations! The materials she chooses are super relevant, and she also provides very helpful tips on traveling in Greece in general. Another thing that was important to me when I looked for a teacher was for me to feel comfortable with speaking, asking for help, etc. Katerina has this for sure, she's very encouraging and that really helps me practice and learn. I feel that I am improving quickly with her help. Looking forward to next week's lesson!
