Hello! My name is Jo! I am 37 years old. I studied English Literature at university and lived in London for many years. I became an English teacher in 2018 and I have worked in Colombia and Italy! I love reading, going to the cinema, visiting new places and drinking coffee. I am learning Spanish and Italian (so I truly understand the pleasure but also the challenges of learning a new language!)我的教學經歷
I am a very friendly, kind and patient teacher. I love talking about interesting topics and hearing about my students' opinions and experiences. I have excellent knowledge of British and North American English (probably from many years of watching US TV shows as a teenager!) and I can give you advice on the vocabulary and grammar you need to sound more natural speaking English.我的課程內容與教學風格
We will do a lot of speaking practice about interesting topics so you can feel more comfortable and confident speaking and listening to native English speakers. My teaching style is very flexible and based on your needs and interests. We can study general English, exam skills or general business English - whatever your goal, I always try to make my lessons relaxed and fun, with varied, creative and interesting content.我的教材

I wish I had Joanna as a teacher when I was at high school, my English would have been way better now but I’m glad to have contacted her here here on italky. She is an amazing teacher who knows every little secret of English and she organizes the lessons with different and so well organized activities. She is also a very friendly person and time really flies during the lessons.
