My hobbies include playing sports, watching films, travelling and reading.
Born and raised in Singapore, I grew up around many different races and cultures and I have been speaking and studying English my entire life.

I have 2 areas of focus:
1.
- We will focus on reading and pronunciation (optional, depends on your goals) starting from the basics or at a level that you are comfortable with.
- We will focus on learning new vocabulary. When you know more words, it will be easier to form sentences to express yourself.
2.
- Confidence building in conversation
- We can pick topics to discuss, focusing on improving confidence in using English to communicate or other specific requirements (e.g. business language, common phrases use when travelling, etc.)
OR
- I will choose different topics of interest before a lesson and spend time practising new vocabulary and phrases that are commonly used with you.我的教材

试过很多老师，最终选择了Lim，对比后发现老师有很多优点：1、老师是位阳光开朗，风趣幽默的人，上课的氛围很轻松愉快；2、老师课前准备很认真，上课也很有耐心；3、老师是个很有心且注重细节的人，有一次上课了解到孩子从来没收到过信；于是一个月后，孩子很惊喜的收到了一份来自新加坡的信，来自远方的朋友，Lim；4、老师是位很努力向上的人，跟老师学习过一段时间，了解到教育其实是老师的兼职，不仅如此还积极的做有意义的小红书英语视频，让我们在线下也能吸取新的知识。总之，值得推荐。

i have taken so many lessons with alvin. since then, i have learnt so many phase and vacabularies. he is a caring, patient, and playful teachers, who always taught me what i wanted to describe, could take care student's demand. thats why i strongly recommend student to have his class.

My boyfriend made me leave comment on alvin sir.
He is a honest and trustworthy teacher, he is honest to point out the mistake from student, doesn't become the slave of money. you have been an another my girlfriend's teacher.
i really feel sleepy actually, but he doesnt give up to make me to do so, after that, he will be willing go to bed earily.

he doesn't become the slave of money.
he pointed out a lot of mistakes from students honestly in the class. His thought processing is very rational.
