Well it’s been a year now that I have had lessons with ひとみさん. I have really enjoyed it and have learned a lot. To learn a language from knowing nothing to being able to have a simple conversations about something has been a challenge I have enjoyed. It’s a great hobby to take up which is completely different from anything I have done before. Just had another good lesson with ひとみさん. She has been teaching me about using nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs. I recently watched a YouTube video and even though it was in simple Japanese i was able to understand it. This was a good achievement for me as at the beginning I was struggling with the listening aspect of the language. ひとみさん doesn’t try to rush you through things you can’t understand and goes at your pace which is essential for me and has made the experience of learning really enjoyable for me. I am satisfied with my lessons with Hitomi-sensei, after each lesson I feel I have learned something new. Also I feel more confident speaking Japanese. I also really like her sense of humour which makes the lessons more interesting and helps me remember examples of grammar usage.

Just returned from Japan where ひとみさん lessons have been put to good use. She has provided me with the confidence to speak Japanese . Going into shops and restaurants can be quite an ordeal, especially when you know people can’t speak your language. Even though I got things wrong from time to time I found people were glad that you tried. The ability to ask simple questions when you speak to a receptionist in a hotel, store clerk or restaurant staff was priceless and mad for a more enjoyable time in Japan. Thanks ひとみさん. I highly recommend ひとみさん as a teacher.

Another very good lesson with ひとみさん. We have been doing varied work on Listening, Speaking and Reading. She has also been helping with particles which have been a challenge at times for me. Highly recommend if your looking for a good teacher.
