My name is Hiromi from Okinawa Island, Japan. I was born in the beautiful city of Kanazawa and I also lived in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nara. I have a master's degree in sociology and have been a counselor and a communication trainer for the last 30 years. I also have written and translated several books and articles about family, gender, etc. I attended many conferences in Japan and other countries, in which I learnt a lot of things to empower women and girls. My hobbies include watching movies, gardening and traveling abroad. I am a very friendly, patient and motivated person.我的教學經歷
I am very passionate about teaching and learning languages. I have a national certificate to teach English at schools. I speak with a standard and classy Japanese accent. I can teach you daily Japanese conversation or formal conversation, starting from beginner’s level all the way to advanced depending on your needs. There is no doubt that Japanese is one of the world’s most difficult languages to learn, however, I am here to help you to learn Japanese in a fun and enjoyable way. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In my class we can have an interesting chat, and while we do that you practice your speaking. As you speak, I will note down your mistakes in pronunciation, grammar, use of words and correct them afterwards. This way you can improve your speaking skills and vocabulary.我的教材

This time we had lots of conversation and then read an NHK Easy article together. As always, Hiromi is very patient, very good at figuring out what I need to work on to progress, and a fantastic teacher.

Today was a fun class where I had the chance to use grammar points and tell a story using the grammar that we discussed. We also worked reading a skit. We discussed grammar points within the skit and worked the expressions. I enjoyed the class!
