My name is Hiromi from Okinawa Island, Japan. I was born in the beautiful city of Kanazawa and I also lived in Tokyo, Yokohama and Nara. I have a master's degree in sociology and have been a counselor and a communication trainer for the last 30 years. I also have written and translated several books and articles about family, gender, etc. I attended many conferences in Japan and other countries, in which I learnt a lot of things to empower women and girls. My hobbies include watching movies, gardening and traveling abroad. I am a very friendly, patient and motivated person.我的教學經歷
I am very passionate about teaching and learning languages. I have a national certificate to teach English at schools. I speak with a standard and classy Japanese accent. I can teach you daily Japanese conversation or formal conversation, starting from beginner’s level all the way to advanced depending on your needs. There is no doubt that Japanese is one of the world’s most difficult languages to learn, however, I am here to help you to learn Japanese in a fun and enjoyable way. 我的課程內容與教學風格
In my class we can have an interesting chat, and while we do that you practice your speaking. As you speak, I will note down your mistakes in pronunciation, grammar, use of words and correct them afterwards. This way you can improve your speaking skills and vocabulary.我的教材

Today Hiromi-San and I discussed the topics that were assigned for homework. As we discussed the topic I learned new words that helped to express the topic at hand. We read an article and discussed the grammar point ~たばかり. I enjoyed today’s class and I look forward to more.

Today was a fun class where we did free talk regarding particular topics. We also read an article out loud and discussed the grammar and vocabulary. I was introduced to new vocabulary and had the opportunity to make example sentences from them. I feel more confident with speaking Japanese after each lesson. I look forward to future classes.
