I'm Daria and I am a polyglot. I teach Romanian, Russian, English and Italian on italki. I studied Philosophy, International, and Economic Studies at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice. 🎓 I grew up in the Republic of Moldova in a bilingual enviornment, speaking Romanian and Russian. I wrote my dissertation on medical ethics. I worked on academic, business, and cultural projects, providing both translation and consecutive interpretation for international NGOs and other organizations. I love travelling and I visited 14 countries in Europe and America. 🌍 Besides my expertise in philosophy and passion for languages I am an artist and I dedicate my time to painting. 🎨
🏆 I create a supportive and engaging learning environment through my patience so that each student feels welcomed. My experience as a multilingual translator and interpreter has given me deep insight into the challenges of cross-cultural and cross-language communication, which I apply in practice, teaching students of any age and level.
🔎 I am detail-oriented and explain the reasoning behind every correction.
💬 I am flexible and ready to improvise to match the student's pace and mood in class. Don't worry about being spontaneous and asking questions during the class - we can switch between topics.
I have a detail-oriented, student-centered teaching style.

a) Natural, spontaneous conversation;
b) On a specific topic.
