Hi, welcome to my italki profile! I live in the beautiful South of England with my wife and two sons. I discovered a love of language back in 2018 when I began learning Polish. I immediately fell in love with the process, and the satisfaction of watching my skills grow day by day. A year later I began holding regular video calls with native Polish speakers and I found not only that it was hugely beneficial for my progress, but that I also took great pleasure in seeing the progress which my language partners were making. Learning this new language, and helping other people to learn my native English has become a great passion for me.

The first thing to mention here is that I am not yet a qualified teacher. That is something which I am working towards and my time here on italki is helping me to pursue that goal. What that means for you is that I am always working to improve my skills so that I can provide students with enjoyable and valuable learning experiences. My goal is for you to end our session feeling that you have enjoyed yourself, and gained something valuable to progress your English learning.

I believe that language learning can, and should, always be an enjoyable experience. Let's talk about the subjects which get you fired up! I can create tasks based around your passions, the things that you love to discuss, so that you will feel engaged with the language you are learning. We can use a range of tasks to ensure that our sessions are interesting and that they match your individual learning style. We can use film clips or text extracts to discuss dialogue, plots and characters. We can use real world resources to practice travel planning or making purchases. We can play games if that appeals to you, or just have a casual chat about day to day life.
