I have been teaching and tutoring English for about five years and assisted ESL teachers directly learning many techniques of teaching to help many different kinds of students.
Since I am a native English speaker, I can mainly help with speaking, listening, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
My method to teach will be based on your needs.
But I believe practicing new information through active conversation, helps greatly for memorization.

I love meeting new people and enjoy learning about other cultures. I am very honest but kind with my critiques and will constantly check that the lessons are fitting your needs and adjust if needed. My lessons are more conversational (topic questions, new vocabulary, and dialogue) and I give easy/fun listening and writing practice as homework to help with consistency. I do my best to come up with topics fitting your interests and goals so you can feel like you are improving on the things you want to improve on.我的教材

Global AmbassadorI was a Global Ambassador for all international students at UC Davis.
2017 - 2019
Student AssistantI was a student assistant to all international extension students at UC Davis. I assisted ESL teachers with classes, led conversation club, led events, led trips, and worked the international library.
2015 - 2017
Program AssistantI was one of three PA's (program assistants) for the international summer institute at Washburn University, three summers in a row. Students were from both Japan and Korea. I taught English classes, tutored daily, and was there for the students for anything and everything (trips, tours, mentoring, etc.)
