My name is David. I am from the UK, but I live in the Philippines. I have been teaching and working in ESL for the last fourteen years, both as a teacher and in administration. I have taught students from all over Asia, of all ages and abilities. I love my life in the Philippines with my beautiful wife and our two lovely children! I enjoy music (I play the bass guitar), science, especially biology, movies and going to the beach.我的教學經歷
Based on feedback from previous students, my classes are interesting and fun! I am very interested in language and so I enjoy discussing the intricacies of word usage, slang, expressions and even a little grammar.我的課程內容與教學風格
My pronunciation classes consist of theory and application. There are techniques that need to be learned, and so these need to be discussed first of all. We can then move on to listening - hearing the techniques in real-life situations. Finally comes application where you can practice applying these techniques yourself.我的教材

TEFL - ITT International TEFL and TESOL LTD - 2021This 120 hour course taught me specific techniques for teaching all of the skills in language acquisition, as well as other more specialized subects, such as teaching online, business English, and English for academic purposes.

Academic DirectorI worked for six years as a teacher and was then promoted to Academic Director. Under this position, I handled pre- and post-assessment of all students, pronunciation and accent training of new teachers, program development, marketing and day-to-day managment tasks.
