My name is Lorraine and I look forward to working with you to ensure that you can speak easily, comfortably and have flow to your conversation. For me, talking comes naturally so conversational English is my focus. Together, we will work hard at making sure that you can use your English as soon as possible. If you looking forward to improving your English go ahead and book a trial session. I was born in South Africa so Afrikaans is my second language. For the past 29 years I have been living in Toronto, Canada (a bilingual city) so I have learned basic French and American Sign Language. A few things that I enjoy in my leisure time are hiking, reading, sewing, knitting and swimming.我的教學經歷
For the past 35 years, I have worked in health care treating patients affected by breast, lung and prostate cancer. Instructing radiation therapy students in a hospital setting is part of my daily practice. Teaching students comes naturally to me and I coach them in communication skills to help them deal with sick patients, team skills and their technical skills. 我的課程內容與教學風格
Remember everyone learns differently so your needs will be assessed on an individual basis in order to progress and achieve your goal. Activities will include everyday discussions, poetry, short stories and games using learning tools such as flash cards and quizzes.我的教材

This was my first independent lesson with Lorraine. She came well-prepared, kept a clear structure, and patiently guided my. By the end, I could clearly feel my improvement—faster responses, smoother sentences, and more confidence.

This lesson followed the materials Lorraine sent beforehand. We read the text, built sentences, did picture description, and practiced weather vocabulary. She was well-prepared, patient, and corrected my pronunciation and word choice. I can now talk about the weather more naturally in everyday conversations. Highly recommend!
