Hello everybody,
I'm Mira, Turkish born and raised in Sweden. I've been living in South Korea for the past 7 years, graduated from a university & currently moved back to my home country. I speak 3 languages since little, Turkish, English & Swedish. I also speak Korean now and always open to learn new languages. I have worked in many different places, as in restaurant, convenient store, conference, hotel reception as well as language teacher.
I love music, love being active, playing sports or working out at home. As said, I love langugaes and currently studying Cantonese ^-^我的教學經歷
As a teacher I always try to figure out what each individual person needs to practice. That is why I like to have a simple conversation the first lesson and ask what the student wants to study and see what level they are in. I always try to make the lesson contents according to the students level. While teaching I always try to make sure my students speaks and expresses themselves as much as possible and I'll always encourage them and also fill in the blanks to give them a little push so they won't be stopping in the middle of the sentence. 我的課程內容與教學風格
I think studying from materials is very good but to improve a language, speaking is very important. That is why I encourage students to speak a lot. During my lessons I use materials where we learn about new grammar and expressions but I also make sure to practice them verbally. I put a lot of focus on speaking since that is the most effective way of improving a language. Because I know from my own experience learning a language. Speaking is the key!我的教材

I've had a few lessons with Mira. She's a lovely tutor, she is softly spoken, kind and patient and she gives a lot of information and encouragement. I highly recommend her.

My informal class with Mira was so much better than all the professional Turkish teachers I had tried before (who desperately shoved grammar and rules at me), as she explained to me the Turkish language with interesting context and comparing it with Korean from the same language family. I felt that this approach would help me so much more than the academic rest :) Teşekkür ederim

Mira's Swedish lessons are fantastic. She's very easygoing and comfortable to work with, gives a great opportunity to practice speaking, and always happily gives feedback and corrections. She also provides a plan for what to work on between lessons so there's a solid objective for "homework" in between. Super happy I found her!
