I was born and raised in South Africa. I graduated from high school and then I moved to Cape Town where I did my tertiary studies. I have a TEFL certificate, Psychology degree and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I enjoy hiking, singing karaoke, and eating out. I love spending time with my sons and reading current affairs.我的教學經歷
I have about 8 years of teaching experience. I create a stress-free learning environment. I am confident and I like to make my students feel confident too. I do this by being compassionate and by encouraging my students to not be afraid of making mistakes but rather learn how to correct the mistakes with my help. This is an aim to get students to be independent as they will use the language skills in their realistic situations outside the classroom.
I have taught students from Indonesia, Brazil, Japan, Vietnam, Mexico, China, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and many more countries!我的課程內容與教學風格
I am a very good listener so I pay attention to my students' needs and focus on their learning areas. I then come up tools designed to meet their areas of interest and specific needs. I pace them accordingly and I ensure that we do not move on from a topic until they fully understand it. I constantly give feedback during the lesson, this helps them remember the corrections, and that is how they gain more confidence.我的教材
