Hello, I’m Orla—a passionate English teacher from Belfast, now shaping young minds in Dublin. With a unique blend of Psychology and Education expertise (MSc, MA, CELTA), I specialize in helping students with additional needs and English as an additional language (EAL). Whether it’s exam prep (IELTS, GCSEs, 11+) or nurturing confidence in young learners, I tailor each lesson to unlock potential. As an experienced educator with qualifications in Psychology and English language instruction, I've spent a decade teaching children, teenagers, and adults. I'm dedicated to tailoring lessons to each student's unique needs and creating a dynamic, enjoyable learning experience. Let's embark on an educational journey together!
My classes vary depending on the student's needs.I have prepared students for exams such as IELTS, KET and PET. I have taught various popular courses (Reach Higher and Our World from National Geographic, Oxford Reading Tree, Great Writing, and RAZ). I taught for Whales English where I was rated 5* in teacher evaluations. A video of one of my classes was also used for training other teachers. I have taught adults and children at itutor and eTeacher/ Langaroo. I also work in a secondary school.
