你好👋 Hi, My name is Tong Wu, I’m from China, a beautiful coastal city called Dalian. I'm native Chinese speaker and grow up in Northeast China. I went to the UK for university and gained my Bachelor of Arts in University of Sussex and Master of Arts in King's College London. Now I live in Austin, United States. I’ve been a language enthusiast since university. And right now I can speak native Mandarin and English, also fluent in Korean, and a starter level in French. I love to learn and share all kinds of things. Besides traveling, cooking, reading, eat great food, I also love wine tasting, skiing, yoga, photography, watching tons of films and dramas.我的教學經歷
Working in Education industry around three years back in China after I graduated and learning Korean and French in daily basis, formed my unique way of understand how to approach a new language. I would say my class should be really fun, creative but still educational. I would be able to personalize your lesson according to your Mandarin level and your languages purpose or goals. I personally think I’m suitable for all ages who wants to learn Mandarin and Chinese Culture, I’m good at using hand gestures, facial expressions.我的課程內容與教學風格
With me, you can learn tones, words, sentences, conversations for daily usages, social and business meetings.For teaching materials, I’ll have textbooks(HSK, YCT, New Silk Road Business etc), power-points, websites, apps, review sheets and if you want even home-works, ready for you to get. However, from my perspective, you never learn authentic language from textbooks. So if you would like, besides textbooks, I will bring you with me to some real Chinese stuffs: like songs, dramas, popular shortfroms, news.我的教材

TongWu is an excellent teacher, and her lesson was interesting and enjoyable. During the lesson she gave me plenty of time to express my thoughts and when needed corrected my mistakes. I look forward to continuing the studies with her again in the near future.
