My name is Sethu and I am from a town known as Buffalo City which is located in South Africa. I am 23 and currently a student. In my free time, I like to watch TV series and movies, go on long walks as well as spend time with my friends and family. A weird fact about me is that I like mango-flavored foods but not the actual fruit itself.我的教學經歷
I have prior experience in tutoring, but instead of English it was 9th grade Maths. Tutoring has taught me that I am more patient than I realize. I also try to be encouraging in order to give a person more confidence in themselves. I am also open to the asking of questions and I believe that there is no such thing as asking "stupid questions". If a person does not understand something, they are more than welcome to ask the same question over and over they understand the answer and I too will do my best to find different ways explain the answer until the tutee understands it.我的課程內容與教學風格
My main goal is to help the tutee gain confidence in their abilities. My lessons can be described as "flexible", in that it can be anything that the tutee wants to go over,there will not be any set lessons because there is no set plan to reach conversational fluency, it occurs as the conversation between the tutor and tutee progresses. My teaching style would be to help answer any questions the tutee might have and to have them be open to asking questions and not be shy to ask that same question again if there is something that they did not understand. I also want to make it a friendly and safe learning-environment where no form of demeaning/bullying, from me or the tutee, will be tolerated.5.0
