Kylie is very friendly and knows effective and communicative ways to reach language skills to her students!

I've been learning from Kylie for a few years now. The lessons I've had are mostly conversation based, and through a consistent schedule of two lessons a week I've picked up a decent vocabulary through a wide range of topics. I've been able to go to Chinese speaking countries and talk to locals in a functional manner, to the point where I would be confident if I permanently moved over. I don't get any Chinese exposure in my own country, but through these lessons I've been able to gradually increase my vocabulary and comfortability in conversation. Highly recommend to anyone who isn't sure they are able to commit multiple hours a week and wants to learn at a comfortable pace in a stress-free environment, or anyone who wants a more laid back and less formal learning environment.

Kylie is a very kind and patient teacher, and I totally recommend her for learning Chinese.

Kylie is a fantastic teacher to practice speaking with as she is a great conversationalist! She is very patient, has a great sense of humor, and always has new ideas/methods to keep classes fun and engaging! I’ve already learned a lot from Kyle and look forward to learning more :)

I've had 3 lessons with Kylie so far and I really enjoy them. She made me feel comfortable straight away, and I like that she explains vocabulary with examples. She encourages me to speak more, which I really need.

shengdi spoke clearly and at a level I can understand, sprinkled with new terms and phrases. Our conversations are lively and interesting!
