Hi, I’m Jieyu Yang (Iris) from Taiwan. Mandarin is my native language. I speak English and I’m currently learning Spanish — so I truly understand the joys and challenges of learning a new language!

我在線上教授中文已超過三年，學生來自美洲、歐洲與亞洲，涵蓋成人與小學生。除了個人經驗，我也完成了專業的中文師資培訓，持續提升自己的教學技巧。
I’ve been teaching Mandarin online for over three years. My students come from the Americas, Europe, and Asia — both adults and children. To continuously improve my teaching skills, I completed professional teacher training programs and earned a TCSOL certification (Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) in June 2025.
我的課程重視實用性與互動性，除了正式的語言訓練外，也會帶你認識台灣文化與流行用語，幫助你更自然地與母語者交流。
課堂上我會使用圖片、遊戲、造句練習、句型填空等方式，幫助你輕鬆記憶新單字。我們可以根據你的需求客製課程，不論是聽、說、讀、寫，我都會協助你穩定進步！
My classes are practical and interactive. I not only teach standard Mandarin but also introduce useful slang, cultural insights, and real-life expressions to help you communicate naturally.
I use visual aids, games, sentence creation, and fill-in-the-blank exercises to make learning engaging and effective.

Iris is a fantastic teacher~ I had trial lessons with three different teachers and her class was the most professional and enjoyable. I've been taking her customized advanced courses for a month now and it's very easy to see the effort and amount of preparation she puts in to our classes. I would highly recommend her classes to anyone.
