It's been five months since I started to study Korean with Dana. My learning experience with her has been super positive and fun! She is a great teacher, who explains very clearly and make the learning process fun and easy! Dana understood since day 1 what my goals and requirements were, and she developed a perfect plan for my needs and wants! After a few months, I already see the results of the classes as I am able to speak a bit and make short sentences. I truly suggest Dana as a Korean tutor. Learning with her is fun and I have been having a great time!

We are so lucky to have Dana as our 8yo's Korean teacher. We live in the USA, and my son takes Korean lessons from her everyday. Dana is always prepared for her lessons with stories, Youtube videos, and is fully engaged. She's kind, patient, and understanding. Our son always looks forward to his lessons. I have recommended her to our friends, and they all agree that she's a wonderful teacher.

성생님 한국에 있었을때 실제로 만날 수 있어서 정말 좋았고 반가웠어요. 그리고 지금은 싱가포르에 있지만 선생님을 italki에서 만날 수 있고 선생님께 한국어를 배울 수 있어서 정말 기뻤어요. 오늘도 재밌게 수업을 들었고 재밌는 이야기도 서로에게 나눠서 좋았어요. 감사합니다!

I am very happy that I can talk about more advanced topics in Korean now. I can understand very well what Dana says and I enjoy our discussion. She always waits for me patiently when I am thinking how to construct a sentence, then she will wrap the sentence up in a more fluent way so that I know how the sentence is supposed to be said in natural Korean.

Ms. Dana is ideal for anyone who tests at an intermediate level on Korean language proficiency tests but speaks with the basic grammar and vocabulary of a child. I’ve been a beginner for a couple of decades, and Ms. Dana's instruction really helps me speak conversationally. The teaching materials are effective in ensuring I cover all the basics while also providing plenty of opportunities to apply what I learn to real-life situations—things I actually want to say to my friends and family.
