Danny is an amazing language teacher and truly passionate about what he does. He has a master’s degree in bilingual teaching, and his up-to-date techniques are adjusted to your learning style so they really work. He shares great information about Colombia, gives thoughtful individual feedback, and puts in effort even between classes. His warm, engaging style makes learning feel supportive and fun, even when working through the messy parts of speaking. I’m honestly amazed at how much progress I’ve made in just one month before a trip and now believe fluency is possible working with Danny longer term.

Danny is a fun, patient, and incredibly thorough Spanish instructor. He creates engaging activities like personalized, made-up stories based on what’s happening in your life, which makes learning Spanish feel relevant and enjoyable. He also incorporates topics you’re genuinely interested in—such as music and pop culture—into quizzes and games, making lessons both effective and fun. We have great conversations about almost anything, and I always feel comfortable speaking with Danny. He gives me the time and space to fully express my thoughts and is very patient while I work through what I want to say. Once I finish, he writes out exactly how the sentence should have been said and gently explains any grammar corrections. I learn new vocabulary and sentence structures in every single class, and I’ve seen real progress in my confidence and fluency. I highly recommend Danny to anyone looking for a supportive, engaging, and effective Spanish instructor.
