Beena Misra

I wanted to put an updated review for Beena ji after more lessons with her. Beena ji is the only teacher you need! Her teaching technique is absolutely brilliant. She has such a thorough understanding of Hindi and so much experience, it wasn’t until she became my teacher that I actually started to understand Hindi grammar. I learn new vocabulary with her without even realising! She is so approachable and kind, and enjoys my (many) language and culture questions. I can’t thank her enough!

I just had my first lesson with Beena-Ji and she is such a kind, encouraging, friendly teacher. She really cares about your progress and has clear plans for lessons so you can get the most improvement. I'm so looking forward to more lessons with her!

I am just beginning to learn Hindi, and at this early stage I am focusing on pronunciation and writing. I am glad that I found Beena to guide me. She has accepted this challenge with enthusiasm and patience, and I am building a solid foundation for the next stage of vocabulary and grammar.

50+ lessons with Beena-ji, so adding an updated review. I would highly recommend, as I have made a great deal of progress and am already constructing sentences and stories. She is very encouraging and motivating, in terms of listening and giving corrections where needed. I would not have imagined that I would be this far six months ago when I started. Speaking one's way to fluency helps hindi come alive. Truly, oral speech/speaking is the cornerstone of the class, and through it, I reinforce grammar concepts. This makes classes both highly enjoyable and enriching. I highly recommend for all learners looking to progress with hindi fluency.
