In the advent of the new season of Game of Thrones, we grappled with some of the terminologies from the show, discussing colours of the houses, names of mystical beings, and the location of some of the houses (testing my memory of prepositions). As usual, a wonderful lesson!

I just love studying Gaelic (Scottish) with Daniel. This week he came up with a total review of Gaelic verbs, which are definitely hard to learn. It will take several lessons to go over the material that he presented, and he also gave me exercises to put into practice the material in the beginning of the review. This is extremely useful. I recommend that those who want to dig down into grammar schedule a lesson with Daniel because he is patient and understanding but fast, too, to correct and lead if I am going off on the wrong tack.

Bha an leasan gu taghta math! Another excellent lesson - tapadh leat Mhona! We had a good chat in Gaelic to start with for about 10 minutes about the snowy weather and what we had both been doing. I learnt some very useful new vocabulary. Mona then went through the writing exercises I had done and she helped me with a couple of reading passages. I am really enjoying these lessons. Mona is an excellent teacher - very encouraging and very clear in her explanations. Beannachd leat, an-dràsta!
