Lavi is a great teacher! She tailored the lesson structure for my goal, which is to become fluent in everyday Indonesian (including slang), so that I can actively participate in everyday conversations. 1. During the lessons, we speak without interruption, which helps to build my self-confidence. 2. We don't stop to fix mistakes/make improvements live, but instead look back at them at the beginning of the next lesson. 3. Ahead of each lesson, Lavi shares a topic and related material (videos/podcasts) I can use to prepare for our "debate" on the topic, while practicing my listening. This structure suits me perfectly as it allows me to practice listening and speaking, and gives me flexibility on how much time I study between lessons. After a few dozen lessons, I'm able to follow most real-life conversations! The next step is to speed up my speaking, which I'm very confident I'll achieve, thanks to Lavi!

I've had over 2,000 lessons with around 100 teachers on this platform, and I can confidently say Kalissa is one of the best teachers I've learned with. Kalissa is excellent at maintaining a natural conversation and knows exactly when to correct my mistakes without interrupting the flow of the lesson. I really enjoyed my first lesson with Richard, he makes sure to adapt to your needs and guides you through in a way that made me feel very comfortable. He encouraged me to speak Indonesian, and was able to help me learn a lot of new things in such a short lesson. the pdf Richard sent me, of the book we worked in, was also very helpful because it contained all the notes from the class.

Dani is an amazing teacher: patient, kind, and always willing to explain everything in a way that truly makes sense. His lessons are enjoyable, relaxed, and at the same time very effective. Folks, Hesti has a unique talent to provide feedback constantly. How does she do this? Through her infinite facial expressions and body language you can understand if your language is making sense to her instantaneously.
