New Year traditions سنت های سال نو in Persian

The first day of the new year is called Norooz.

Rice with dill and Fish ( traditional new year dinner )

Eidi ( money or gift which elderly people give to children )

Sumaq (a bright red spice made from crushed berries)

senjed (the sweet dry fruit of the lotus tree)
