I have been a Mandarin teacher since 2010. At first, I worked as a mandarin teacher in a language training school. I love teaching there and I have got so many good students. They are not just my students, but also my friends. The only thing I dislike is that I can only use their textbook to teach and I noticed it doesn't suit every student. Then I found italki. Teaching Chinese as a foreign language since 2014, won a National Chinese Teaching Contest in 2018. When I was in my undergraduate school, I volunteered as a Chinese Culture teacher in Senegal for 2 months. Later I took my Chinese teaching internship in an Indian public high school for six weeks. After I graduated, I had a one-year experience in the Philippines, working as a Chinese teacher trainer. Later I decided to come back to study for a master’s degree, to be a more qualified international Chinese teacher, and to improve my ability in doing research. During my time in China, I had been teaching Chinese in universities, also doing one on one tutoring. I even held a whole city’s Chinese Corner weekly activity, which was popular and active over 2 years!
