Learning English Step by Step Learning English can feel challenging at first, but with the right mindset and habits, it becomes easier and more enjoyable. You don’t need to be perfect—you just need to keep moving forward. Start Where You Are Many students feel embarrassed about their level of English. Remember: everyone starts somewhere. Your level today is not your final level. Focus on what you can do now, and build from there. Consistency Is More Important Than Speed Studying for a short time every day is better than studying for many hours once a week. Even 10 minutes a day can help you improve your vocabulary, listening, or speaking skills. Consistency creates progress. Learn Words in Context Instead of memorizing long word lists, learn words through sentences, stories, or conversations. This helps you understand how words are really used and makes them easier to remember. Speaking Builds Confidence The more you speak, the more confident you become. You don’t need perfect grammar to communicate. Try to express your ideas clearly, even with simple words. Confidence grows with practice, not perfection. Use Real-Life English English is everywhere. Use it in your daily life by watching videos, reading social media posts, or listening to podcasts. Choose content that matches your interests so learning feels natural. Ask for Feedback Feedback helps you improve faster. A teacher or language partner can help you notice mistakes and improve pronunciation. Don’t be afraid to ask questions—curiosity is a powerful learning tool. Celebrate Your Progress Every new word, sentence, and conversation is progress. Take time to notice how far you’ve come. Small wins lead to big success.

I always hear that someone who is very successful like to visit their elementery school teachers on special days. There must be something really important the teachers had taught them. We always say that button the first button in our life can affect the rest of our life. So, who is the first preson help us button our first life button besides our parents? The answer must be teachers for most people. Teachers not only teach us knowledges in class, but also lead us to be a better self. They helped us overcome many tough times in our life. They taught us howto be alind person. We like to use burning candles to desribe our teachers. They light up their students' road without complaining anything until they are too old to stand on the platform. Most people usually respect the unselfish and positive people in their life, teachers certainly fall into this category.

Last weekend I went to Toyama for a Yosakoi festival. It was my first time going to Toyama, so I was very excited. The city looked beautiful, and I was curious about what kind of memories I could make there. On the first day, we started dancing but suddenly thunder and lightning came. The sound of the thunder was so loud that it surprised me. Because of the storm, the event had to stop in the middle. I felt sad and disappointed, but I also thought it was the right choice because safety is important. The second day was much better. The weather was sunny, and the night stage was shining with many bright lights. Dancing on that stage was like a dream. The lights made everything sparkle, and the audience cheered with so much energy. I was smiling the whole time because it felt amazing. I thought again that Yosakoi is really special. It is not only dancing but also sharing happiness with people. I also tried Toyama’s famous food. I ate Toyama Black Ramen, and it was delicious. The soup was very strong with black pepper and garlic. It was salty, but in a good way, and it gave me energy after dancing. I was glad I could try a local food. This trip was short, but it was full of fun, dancing, and new experiences. I really want to go to Toyama again someday.
