Today is Christmas, and it feels a little special because I just came back from a short trip to Izu. I went there yesterday, and I traveled by car. The drive was very long, so I became quite tired after many hours on the road. However, the trip was really worth it. The dinner I had last night at the ryokan was amazing, and the breakfast this morning was also excellent. Both meals made me feel very happy, and they were one of the best parts of the trip. At the ryokan, I also tried a beer from Shizuoka that my teacher had recommended to me before. When I drank it, I felt that it had no strange aftertaste. It was very clean, light, and easy to drink, so I enjoyed it a lot. Because I had to return the rental car on time, I came back home around six in the evening. Even though I was tired from driving, I felt satisfied with the whole trip. Now, I am going to drink with my university friends. It is a very hard schedule, and I know I will probably feel tired later, but I also feel that I am really enjoying my life as a university student. Days like this make me feel young and active. I want to enjoy the rest of the night and make good memories with my friends. I am ready to have fun.

If you often shop online, you deifinitely receive some messages from online stores with a big discount. Someone might complete the purchase on impluse. The others still leave the items in the cart for a few days. Then they have enough time to think about whether they really want these items or not. I don't think that the online stores are wrong to attract customers to purchase their items by giving them some discounts. But I have seen some stores tagged their items in high prices, then sold with even a 10% discount. This is really bad for the people who purchase on impulse. So, in order to avoid impulse purchase, we should get into a habit of thinking more about whether these items are essential or not before determining to buy. We can also think about the bills we receive every month. Nobody wants to divide the cost of electricity, water and rent with me. I don't want to eat instant noodles with a lot of items bought online on impulse at the end od each month. In fact, I really want to unload these apps for shopping. If I really want to buy something, I can install them.

Many people feel nervous before speaking English. Not because they don’t know words — but because they think the first sentence must be perfect. They tell themselves: “If I start wrong, everything will go wrong.” So they wait. They think more. They try to organize everything in their head. And then speaking feels even harder. The truth is simple: Conversations don’t need a perfect start. They need movement. When you speak your first sentence, you are not being judged. You are just opening the door. Most confidence doesn’t come from preparing more. It comes from allowing yourself to begin — imperfectly. Next time you speak, don’t search for the best start. Just start. Often, the voice finds itself after the first sentence — not before it. Make a small decision now and write it down on a piece of paper: I decide to ... fill in yourself. See you tomorrow for one minute challenge.
