Query about one sentence ( which I regard it as complex) The debate over Bain Capital and its ventures how many jobs were lost vs . how many jobs were saved at companies they acquired and who profited is absurd and makes no earthly sense. Query : ls this sentence grammatically correct ? I guess or I seem to feel that there is a preposition " about " before ( in front of ) the word " how ", but I don ' t know how to deal with the preposition " over "..., I guess that the preposition " over " means preposition " concerning". The main structure of this sentence, I think, is : The debate over A ( about ) B , and C , is absurd , and the debate makes no sense . ■■■ Here, the " A , B , and C " are noun phrase. A = Bain Capital and its ventures, B = how many jobs were lost vs . how many jobs were saved at companies they acquired. C = who profited)■■■ Are my two guesses correct ?
