こんにちは！Atsushiです。
今日の北海道の天気は晴れ。
気温は25℃。最近は少し暑くなってきました。
北海道は空が広いので、天気がいいととても気持ちがいいです。

暑いと、ビールが飲みたくなりますね！
みなさんはビールは好きですか？

私のレッスンを受けている方に、とてもビールを好きな方がいます。その方と話をするといつも、ビールを飲みたくなります。


今日は、そんなビールについての話です。
日本のビールのはじまりについて話します。
日本のビールのはじまりは、今も売っている北海道のサッポロビールでした。そのはじまりの話です。


日本では、約150年ほど前までは鎖国といって、外国との関わりがありませんでした。ですが、鎖国をしていた江戸時代が終わり、明治時代がはじまった1868年ぐらいから一気に変わりました。

そして、ここ北海道も同じ時から、開拓されていきます。
国がたくさんのお金を使って開拓をしていき、30種類以上のいろんな工場ができました。

その中の1つに開拓使麦酒醸造所(かいたくしばくしゅじょうぞうしょ)もできました。これが日本ではじめてのビール工場となりました。そののち、国営から民営化となり、今のサッポロビールという会社へつながります。札幌には、その時はじめてできた工場が今も残っていて、見学することができます。とても歴史を感じる場所です。

また、サッポロビールのロゴ、マークには、星、スターの印があります。これは、北海道を150年前に切り開いた開拓使のシンボルマークでもありました。

私は昨日、このことをはじめて知りました。
当時の人たちの思いがこのマークに込められているかもしれないと思うと、感動を覚えます。

今、個人的に、北海道の歴史を調べているところなので、とてもおもしろいと思いました。


日本に長い間住んでいますが、まだまだ知らないことがたくさんあります。知らないことを知るのはとても楽しいですね！
