Last weekend, I went to a concert. It was Japanese and Brazilian music concert played by Koto the Japanese harp, Shakuhachi the Japanese flute and Pandeiro the Brazilian tambourine. I was impressed with sounds of Koto playing samba. It was good with samba though it is Japanese instrument. I also was surprised about Pandeiro. It was my first time to listen Pandeiro, and Pandeiro sounds like a set of percussions. I thought it sounds like a bass drum, timpani, snare drum and tambourine. The Pandeiro player said it could be tuned, and at that point, Pandeiro was different from tambourine. Once Pandeiro started to sounds, I felt like I’m in Brazil. It was novelty experience, and I had a good and relaxing holiday.

The Pandeiro player said it could be tuned, and for that reason, it is different from a tambourine. Once the Pandeiro started to play, I felt like I was in Brazil. It was novel experience, and I had a good and relaxing holiday.
