#11 Today I came across an article about cloning mammoths 🧬. Scientists plan to take the elephant's genome 🐘, insert individual mammoth genes 🌡. The term of the project is optimistically estimated at 4-6 years. Other scientists say the mammoth's DNA samples are too broken to be cloned. It would be interesting to live up to the time when scientists can revive the extinct species of animals. Perhaps it is not as dangerous as experimenting with viruses, for example. However, you need to think about how these new-old animals will live in the ecosystem 🍄. Photo from cnn.com

#11 Today I came across an article about cloning mammoths 🧬. Scientists are planning to take the elephant's genome 🐘and insert mammoth genes 🌡. If all goes well, the project's time frame is estimated to be 4-6 years. Scientists opposing the project say the mammoth's DNA samples are too broken to be cloned. It would be interesting to live to see scientists revive extinct species of animals. Perhaps it is not as dangerous as experimenting with viruses, for example. However, you need to think about how these new-old animals will affect the ecosystem 🍄. Photo from cnn.com

Burgeoning technology asks if we can, while wisdom asks if we should.
