I borrow books from the library, than I bring them back. If I have a book which my friend has not got but wants to read, I can lend my book to him f/ her or a couple of weeks. Not more! =)

The usage of each one will depend on who is performing the action. E.g.: I borrow money from the bank The bank lend me money.
