Hello! I'm Teis, a passionate Danish language enthusiast and community teacher on italki. Born and raised in Denmark, I have a deep-rooted love for my native language and culture. I've been involved in various language exchange programs for years and I'm fluent in English, which ensures seamless communication during our lessons.
While I may not be a professional teacher by training, I am a firm believer in the power of immersive, conversational, and engaging teaching methods. I customize my lessons to fit the unique learning styles and goals of my students, whether you're a beginner just starting out or an intermediate learner aiming to improve.

It was a first short lesson with Theis but I felt very satisfied. I was able to practice conversation, pronunciation, explain my reasons for taking Danish, and everything was very comfortable. Feels like I've made progress already by finding a good teacher; and he set up exercises relevant to our conversation and my particular experience.

Today was my first class with Teis. I was pleasantly surprised at how well structured the class went. Starting from having no knowledge in Danish, I'm happy that Teis is so patient with letting me figure out the pronunciations of words. I'll definitely come back for more! 🌻
