🔸I'm a hyperpolyglot teacher certified by the UNAM (Mexico), and have a degree in Classical Music and Cello Performance (Austria-USA), Art History (Germany-Chile), and Diplomacy (Hong Kong-Singapore)
🔹I'm currently enrolled in languages at the University of Oxford (England), the University of Helsinki (Finland), the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (Japan) and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel)
🔸Besides that, I'm an Alternative Medicine learner (China), energy healing therapist, psychotarologist and digital content creator

Ich liebe die Spanisch-Stunden mit Ixchel! Ihr Unterricht ist sehr gut strukturiert. Aber sie bringt auch oft spontan neues Material in die Stunde (Videos, Bilder, Lieder). Sie ist sehr feinfühlig und kann während des Unterrichts spontan switchen und ein anderes Thema besprechen, weil das gerade besser zur Stunde passt. Heute ließ sie Grammatik Grammatik sein und zauberte ein wunderschönes spanisches Lied aus dem Hut, weil das einfach besser passte. Ixchel ist immer sehr gut vorbereitet, hat Materialien in vielerlei Formen für jede Gelegenheit und jedes Level. Dadurch ist der Unterricht immer sehr abwechslungsreich. Ixchel ist eine liebenswerte, geduldige und motivierende Lehrerin, die es extrem gut versteht, auf Stärken und Schwächen der Schüler einzugehen.

My first lesson with Ixchel was great!
I am a total beginner, so we went over the alphabet. I am very grateful to be learning the foundations of Spanish with someone who has such a broad linguistic expertise and could explain the historical provenance of each letter and how its pronunciation can be modified.
Ixchel was very encouraging during our lesson, so I did not feel embarrassed to be going over such a foundational concept together – to the contrary, I felt very appreciative of having a teacher who could answer my questions about allophones.
