Hi, my name is Zorica and I was born and raised in Serbia. Teaching is my profession, but also my great source of joy. I am a lecturer - Master of Serbian language and I have more than three years of teaching experience and that includes Brick and Mortar School and online tutoring. I like to be focused on conversational skills because I believe that the most efficient way of learning a new language is through communication. For me teaching the Serbian language is an opportunity to show you Serbian culture and I want you to feel the beauty of communicating in my native language. I use different methods, personalize my lessons according to your needs. I like to have a well-structured lesson and to use various activities during the lesson. I use original resources: videos, newspaper articles, songs, pictures, literature... I can teach children and adults. When I teach children I take into consideration that kids normally have shorter attention span so I have more game-like activities with rewards and props.

Zorica is an exceptional teacher. I was taking lessons with her to prepare me for a trip to Serbia. Her teaching gave me the foundation I needed to communicate in different environments and scenarios. I felt confident using the language. It was an amazing experience that only an excellent language teacher could have prepared me for. Now I am back, and I am continuing my language classes with Zorica. I am extremely motivated!

Zorica is very dedicated to helping me understand the difference between cases, as well as, singular and plural possessive pronouns. Also, she is encouraging with pronunciation of words.

Uvek se radujem časovima sa Zoricom. Ona je odlična nastvanica, uvek dobro pripremljena, pažljiva i pomoćna. Sad se osećam mnogo sigurnije kada govorim srpski.
