And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence. In writing though, depending on your level, I might use English to make things clearer. For young children, I'll focus on learning through games and little stories.

While reading and writing is important, being able to communicate in a foreign language is from far, in my view, the most satisfying and rewarding aspect.

I enjoy very much seeing my students’ progress. I love travelling. My last trips brought me to California, New York, Congo Brazzaville and Denmark. I like sport, reading, watching movies, museums, cooking, and singing in a choir. I also participate in a writing workshop.

In order for students to learn as well as possible, the classical teacher-student dynamic must be forgotten, so the contact will be less formal . My lessons will only be in French so that the students can get used to the language. Do not be afraid of mistakes, since they are not negative. Quite the contrary: mistakes help us learn better.
