Your Friendly Neighborhood Italian Tutor! 🗣 My class' focus is on conversation full of vocabulary terms for the student to learn. The topic will change every time: culture, food, literature, recipes, movies, travels... 🤹🏻 The students will describe pictures, do dictation activities and funny exercises, but mostly talk about their routine, their travels, and more. At the end of the class I always tell my students my thoughts about their Italian skills based on the conversation we had, and I give them some tips to improve progressively. ⭐️ This is a safe space: feel free to share your thoughts, make mistakes and make questions. Don’t stress too much and enjoy the process.

I have never liked boring lessons and I like dynamism, so I would define myself a teacher who likes that students can learn having fun and with joy. At the same time, I adore grammar and I think it is very important to study and internalize it in order to speak well a foreign language. Finally, during my classes I like to speak a little bit about culture of the language we are studying and to do some language structure’s comparisons which are very interesting to understand how languages work (a little bit of linguistics help).

Cultivating curiosity beyond the classroom Since I started teaching on Italki, I’ve had the privilege of accompanying students on their personal journeys toward learning Italian. Each student brings a unique story and motivation to the table—whether it’s for travel, work, family, or simply the love of the language—and this diversity continuously enriches both my teaching and my personal growth. I teach ITALIAN both in a Swedish school and online! I have teaching experience both as a private tutor and at Folkuniversitetet, both in person in Gothenburg and online. So I can help you if you are starting from scratch, but I also love teaching intermediate or advanced students. I was trained as an Italian teacher for foreign students at Venice University, where I obtained the CEDILS diploma in 2017, after having volunteered in a school. I'm very familiar with language learning too: I learnt Spanish in Seville, where I studied as an Erasmus student, and I'm improving my French. For my English I relied on one-to-one online lessons: I think it's the best method to improve quickly and to become fluent wherever you are in the world!
