Future Tense Explanation 📌 Format: This pattern is used to express a future plan or intention and means the same as 'will' or 'is going to' in English. It is formed by adding -(으)ㄹ 거예요 to the stems of verbs. -ㄹ 거예요 is used when the verb stem ends in ㄹ or a vowel, and -을 거예요 is used when the verb stem ends in a consonant. 예문 (Example Sentences) 내일 친구를 만날 거예요. I will meet a friend tomorrow. 주말에 여행을 할 거예요. I am going to travel this weekend. 나는 저녁에 운동을 할 거예요. I will exercise in the evening. 그는 다음 주에 시험을 볼 거예요.
