Let's get to know each other by talking about food and drinks! What food do you like to eat? What was your favorite food when you were a child? What's a dish you want to try in the future?
We'll practice vocabulary to describe dishes from around the world. You'll learn idioms that use food to express many kinds of feelings and situations.
We'll also look at the textbook we might use if you want another lesson with me.

Do you want to strengthen your grammar skills for more fluent conversation? Do you want to improve your writing for school or work? In this lesson, we will focus on the perfect tenses so that you can understand them more clearly and use them with greater accuracy and confidence.

We can work on the present perfect simple, present perfect continuous, past perfect simple, past perfect continuous, future perfect simple, and future perfect continuous, depending on your level and goals. You will learn how these tenses are used to express completed actions, unfinished actions connected to the present, duration over time, earlier past events, and actions that will be completed or still be in progress before a certain point in the future.

For example, with the present perfect simple, you might say, 

"I have finished my report."

With the present perfect continuous, you might say,

"I have been studying for two hours."

With the past perfect simple, you might say,

"She had left before I arrived."

With the past perfect continuous, you might say,

"They had been waiting for a long time before the bus came."
